I must share my exceptional experience at The Americano in Scottsdale – it left such an impression that a return visit is a must. Ask for Olympia; her knowledge, kindness, and genuine interest ensure a wonderful dining experience. My friend raved about the perfectly seasoned steak, a highly recommended choice. Personally, I savored the ravioli with short ribs and bone marrow – a delightful dish. The restaurant boasts a fantastic vibe, making it a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!
Although I have no photos of the meals... this place is incredible. The service, ambiance and bar is impressive.
The food was amazing. The homemade pasta was delicious. This place is a big hit for social events and the staff are very friendly and inviting.
Note: the videos were taken in off hours the following day we went there for an event.
It was fate that my wife & I came here.
While in Scottsdale for an impromptu vacation, we were watching the Food Network in our hotel room & came across a show that Chef Scott Conant was looking to hire a sous-chef. At the end of the episode, we found out that the restaurant(the Americano) was in Scottsdale & we thought why not try it!
When we got there, the Hostess was very polite & congratulated my wife & I for celebrating our 9yr anniversary.
They got us right to our table & our Server, Gavin, greeted us immediately. He offered us various options for water & explained the menu. He asked if this was our first time & we said yes & how we happened to see Scott on TV & that’s how we ended up here.
He said that Scott was actually in the restaurant tonight & he’d try to bring him by our table later for a meet/greet.
For apps, we ordered the Olive & Octopus as well as the focaccia bread. Both were tasty & came out in a timely manner.
In between our apps & mains, we were greeted by Scott himself who spent a couple mins with us & even congratulated us for our anniversary - that put our night from great to unforgettable!
The mains came out & the Bolognese pasta as well as the Lobster pasta were phenomenal. I had the lobster & it was a HEALTHY amount of lobster portions within the tasty pasta!
For dessert we ordered the brownie & the restaurant gave us a complimentary dessert on top for our anniversary. Such a nice touch.
We absolutely loved our time at the Americano & if we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely be back!
Thanks to Gavin & Scott for taking such great care of us.
Would absolutely recommend this spot for a night
This is located about 5 minutes from our house, and we finally tried it for the first time. My regret is that we had gone sooner. It’s definitely worth a five star rating. Specialty cocktails, amazing wine by the glass menu, incredible food, and a beautiful hip ambiance! The service was a tad slow, but nonetheless it was great. We will surely go back to try all the food we didn’t order!
If you haven't tried The Americano Restaurant, you are missing out. Service is fantastic, Food is fantastic, Drinks are fantastic. Big shout out to Megan at the bar pictured in the photo. Her and the rest of the bar staff keep it fun!!
This is a 6 out of 5 restaurant. My wife and I frequent a lot of places in the area and The Americano out-classed the majority of them. The service was phenomenal; thank you for the delightful evening Olympia! The pasta and ravioli were perfectly cooked; the oysters and appetizers were fast and fresh. The atmosphere is modern upscale chic making it a comfortably intimate dinner for couples and friends. Would highly recommend for dates, or an upscaled dinner with people you love.
UPDATE 2-24——
We haven’t been here for a while, and I needed to correct my review because it was Terry not Jerry! He is amazing, fun, kind, knowledgeable and love his smile, I I love the conversation and he makes the best ever Versace on the floor!!! we celebrated it early Valentine’s Day and we are glad we picked the perfect place.
We LOVE TERRY! Oh yeah, by the way, the food was fabulous. The lobster pasta was incredible but my Bolognese with Wagyu kicked it out of the park.
I WOULD RECOMMEND

Americano
We heard some really good things about the signature cocktails, so we had to go. My husband ordered the Versace on the floor, after we had waited 15 minutes to get served. Took him about 7 minutes to make it. It was amazing. We waited for him to take the rest of our orders, even though we could see the bartender it was like he disappeared, finally after 12 minutes he took our order, didn’t come back, 15 later we got our drinks by that time I was ready to put $20 on the bar and walk out. He seemed, grouchy, non engaging, not a good experience, he spoke to no one.
Although my husbands drink was good and a work of art, I will pr not give this another chance!
NOT EVEN A THOUGH ABOUT RETURNING!
Were took a client there in early December and have been there several times previously. Laura was our server and she was phenomenal! All of her recommendations from appetizers (definitely try the octopus - it's as tender and delicious as she promised), to mains and wine were all spot on! She was delightful and attentive as well. We had a great meal and our client was very impressed with her meal as well. Thanks for a great evening!
